Our Mission
At Styll, we aim to teach you how to use mindfulness meditation to live a happier life.
We make mindfulness accessible through our live virtual interactive sessions, expert teachers, with an easily understandable approach to meditation for daily life.
Our Name
Styll /’stil’/
Styll, pronounced “still”.
We wanted Still but it was taken, so we landed on Styll. In the real world, things don’t always go the way you want. That’s how life goes.
But it is a little easier with Styll.
Our Founder
Ever since I was a little girl, life hasn’t been easy.
I was very emotional and found myself easily overwhelmed. I spent years trying to find what worked for me from therapy to reiki you name it, I’ve tried it. While it was all great work, I still found myself struggling. I had always heard about the benefits of a regular meditation practice but I never thought that I could do it. So….. I challenged myself to start meditating for just 5 minutes a day.
Eventually ,during these daily meditation minutes I got to know myself better. Would you believe…. I actually started to develop self-confidence, self-love and self-acceptance with no judgments. I hardly recognized myself! I no longer freaked out when I was sitting in traffic. Having had these experiences made me want to learn more. I decided to enroll in the meditation teacher training program at MNDFL in New York City
In 2020 I founded a virtual meditation studio called Styll (pronounced still) , a place to show up as yourself and access real meditation tools to make life just a little bit easier.
Because if I could go back and give myself one piece of advice it would have been to ….. Shut up and start meditating at birth
I promise - if I can do it, anyone can do it.
